She was born in Santa Monica, California on the 26th November of 1986. The singer is the daughter of Vincenzo Barba along with her father Valerie Barba. In the year 2006, at the age of 6, she and her family emigrated in Point Pleasant New Jersey. Regarding her education, she finished her education at Red Bank Catholic High School in New Jersey. After that, she went to Catholic University and graduated with an associate's degree in architecture. She also began playing violin at when she was four years old and was nicknamed Violin Girl.
